Activation and setup of BEARING X SFTP server

Step 1

Contact the BEARING X team with an SFPT requirement for your company. (informally to team@bearingx.io)
It is IMPORTANT that you specify the user through whom the upload should run
We will then expand the directory for your company.

Step 2

Connect to your SFTP programme and the server (e.g. with filezilla or Winscp).
The BEARING X SFTP server (https://sftp.bearingx.io/web/client/login):
Procotol: SFTP - SSH File Transport Protocol
Server: 31.24.145.67
Connection: 2022
User name: „Login name of the user for the BEARING X platform“
password: „Password of the user for the BEARING X platform“

Step3

Upload the prepared CSV file with the inventory (You can find a CSV file template here)
Move or copy the CSV file to the server folder. BEARING X will automatically upload the file to your account.

Info:If you copy/move a different or new CSV file to the folder on the same day, BEARING X deletes the existing data and replaces it with the content of the new CSV file. So if you want to add bearings to your original upload, please add them to the original CSV file and upload them again. This way you can be sure that no stock is unintentionally removed.

Check if the upload worked properly.
